What is HOY?
HOY is a bingo-like card game for 2 or more players, where participants must match the cards on their sheets to the cards turned over from the deck by the dealer.
How to play
Players are given a HOY sheet and 9 or 13 markers/counters to mark off the numbers. The dealer shuffles the pack of cards and then turns them over 1 at a time, calling out each card as they go. If the card called is on the players sheet, they use a counter to mark it off. The game is played until someone has marked off all the cards on their sheet.
Variants include playing to complete a straight horizontal or vertical line, or playing to complete a row of 5.
