It’s offical, the Swan Districts Senior Citizens Association has left the building.
As many know, some years ago the building at Junction Ave was sold to the District Council as part of their plan to redevelop the area around the Midland Oval. We have since been renting the building back from them, but earlier this council informed us that they would be demolishing the building later this year and thus would not be renewing the lease.
For the past several months, our activities have been being held at the Bellevue Baptist Church, with the office remaining at Junction Parade. As of the end of August, the Association has officially relocated all activities and office functions to the church.
